Master, Chief Instructor Michael Reese is a registered 5th Degree Black Belt in Kung Fu with the United Martial Arts Association of America. Silver Coin.
Chief Instructor Reese was born in San Pedro, California and raised throughout the South calling Texas his home state. He started his professional career with Electronic Data Systems (EDS) in Dallas, and relocated to Phoenix, Arizona in 1992. Since moving to Phoenix, Chief Instructor Reesel has continued his work for DXC Technology and currently is supporting State and Federal Healthcare Medicaid/Medicare as an EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Technical Consultant.
In 2007, Chief Instructor Reese and his family decided to begin learning martial arts at the United Kung Fu Academy. Since starting their training at United Kung Fu, he has trained with Grandmaster Jerry Dibble and Master Instructor Laurie Ledgerwood in many martial art styles, including Hung Gar’s Southern Shaolin Tiger & Crane, Northern Shaolin Long Fist, Xing Yi, Yang and Chen style Tai Chi, Wing Tsun, Qi Gong, Bagua, along with many different weapon forms.
In his affiliation with United Kung Fu, Chief Instructor Reese has trained with Grandmaster Jinheng Li, Grandmaster Jerry Cook, Master Puquan Xiao, Grandmaster Michael Leone, and Master Instructor Jason Campbell.
Chief Instructor Reese also participates in the Zen Marksmen program where he is Certified Instructor with the NRA and Zen Marksmen in multiple disciplines, including pistol, rifle, and shotgun. Furthermore, he is a level 2 Archery Instructor certified by USA Archery.
